Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I am spending the day with my family at my mother's home. I am grateful for all of them! I am also grateful for holidays because I can never think of anything to post on here. I hope everybody has a wonderful meal with people they love.

It is coming down to the wire to become registered to vote in the presidential election.Some states have more requirements than others. Here in Oregon we vote by mail. It is so easy! A Sad Anniversary

It's hard to believe it hass been 11 years since the dreadful day the Twin Towers were hit. I remember as if it were yesterday, waking up to the news of this evil. I was terrified it was the end of the world.The tragedy brought me closer to my family and friends because I was worried this wickedness would strike close to home. My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones to this atrocity. I pray for them and I pray that it never happens again.

Happy Memorial Day. I am so grateful to be an American and so grateful to our dear soldiers. So many have given up their precious time with their families, their limbs, and even their lives, so that we can live our lives in freedom. When I read of all the atrocities that go on in other countries I am saddened and humble for all we have. I pray for our American soldiers and their families, that they come home safe and get to enjoy the freedom they have given us.

I am so blessed to be a daughter to my mom. She is such a fantastic person. At 70, she is still going strong. She keeps an immaculate home, bakes the most wonderful goodies, and still mows the yard herself. I am also blessed to be a mom to my three lovely adult children. I am also blessed to be a grandmother. When I count my blessings, I can't believe how lucky I am! I wish all of you a happy mother's day!
