Every Christmas season I gain a few pounds. I vow to take it off by summer and never do. I have gained about 20 extra pounds this way over the years. I decided that this season I will not gain one single pound. Instead I am going to lose a couple of pounds so I can eat all the Christmas cookies I want. My mom makes the most delicious cookies in many varieties and I want to enjoy them without feeling guilty. I am exercising an extra 10 minutes a day and I cut butter, margarine, and mayonnaise out of my diet. I will let you know how it goes!

What a great plan - lose weight, so you can enjoy the goodies without guilt. Good luck!
I think that you should just let it go, unless you are having health issues: "LET THEM EAT CAKE!"
I hope that you don't let weight interfere with your happiness like some peeps do, you have your boyfriend, children, and grandchildren to keep you young, happy, and most of all beautiful:)
Those cookies look delicious!

I think this is a great plan. I personally would like to lose a few pounds and eat lots of sweets during the holidays too.
Veganaise is tastier and healthier for you you don't ever need to use Mayo again. Those cookies look delectable. Keep us posted for sure.
Fiddlesticks to losing weight over the festive season. I have trouble losing weight all year round!!

Yes,do let us know how it goes. We are engaged in a constant battle with the bulge over here and we love cookies, so....you know what that means.

I like this idea. Exercise helps in so many ways. We walk, outside when it's mild, inside the church building when it's too cold. It clears my mind and improves my mood.
You go, girl! Let us know how many cookies you are able to partake of; I'd like to know the math on that. Like, how many minutes of exercise per cookie did you do?
BTW, thanks for following my blog. Many blessings to you,
Jen

Those cookies look yummy! Good luck on the weight loss!
If you are ditching the butter, I swear you need to try the Smart Balance Light. It's one of my obsessions :D
I love making Christmas cookies! They are my favorite.
Ambitious! I can so relate to this.
One year I went on a cookie diet - that is ALL I ate for about a week. I had a ton of them I needed to use up and I figured that was as good a diet as any. I did lose weight, but I didn't feel very good... :)
Good luck! I'm trying to drop a couple before Thursday:)
