Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a wonderful day spent with friends and family. I look forward to my mom's turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie,though my favorite food served is the chips and dips. I don't diet on Thanksgiving, and nobody else should either.


What we're really talking about is a wonderful day set aside on the fourth Thursday of November when no one diets. I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving? ~Erma Bombeck

Red Grandson

I feel so lucky that The Shopping Mama picked me as the winner in their blog giveaway for this adorable mini portrait! Emma from Blue Day Designs did a terrific job in creating this adorable little portrait of my two year old grandson, Thomas.I simply sent her my original photo (the bottom one) and she sent me several options, including one in blue and one in black. I chose the red one because for some reason it just suited my grandson's personality. I love it!

Fall Behind

Remember to set your clocks back an hour tonight at 2:00 am. It is also a good idea to check the batteries in your smoke alarm. I am not looking forward to it being so dark. I always end up feeling a little depressed and sleeping and eating too much.
